European Council President António Costa has stated that if Denmark’s territorial integrity were challenged, the European Union would support it in upholding the principles of sovereignty and inviolability of borders.

The European Union should continue to provide military support to Ukraine so that it can enter possible peace talks from a position of strength, and find the resources to do so, even if it has not done so before.

After Ukraine halted the transit of Russian gas to Europe, gas supplies to European Union states have been ensured through alternative routes via Germany and Italy, as well as by withdrawing gas from storage facilities.

Andrii Sybiha, Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs, believes that by halting the transit of Russian gas to EU states, Ukraine has deprived Russia of one of its last tools of influence over Europe.
