President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine had a meeting with António Guterres, the UN Secretary-General, in Lviv.

Zelensky reported on his Telegram channel that they agreed on further coordination in implementing the grain initiative.

In addition, they discussed the issues of illegal and forced deportation of Ukrainians and of liberating Ukrainian soldiers and doctors from captivity.

 "Separately, we discussed the topic of nuclear blackmail at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. This deliberate act of terror by the aggressor can have catastrophic consequences for the whole world. Therefore, the UN must ensure the security of this strategically important facility, its demilitarisation and complete liberation from Russian troops", Zelensky insisted.

Reportedly, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkey, also arrived in Lviv.
