Kuleba in Sweden Called On to Provide Ukraine with Archer Self-Propelled Gun System, RBS 70 Manpads
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called on the Swedish government to provide more weapons to Ukraine to fight the Russian invasion.
He said this in Stockholm at a press conference with the Prime Minister of Sweden, Magdalena Andersson, and the head of the Foreign Ministry, Ann Linde.
"Right when I thanked Sweden for everything is done, I raised the issue of supplying weapons to Ukraine. Because when you are at war, you need the most weapons, weapons, and more weapons," said Kuleba.
According to him, Ukraine is asking Sweden to provide Archer self-propelled gun system, RBS 70 MANPADS, and additional ammunition for artillery.
"No matter how strange it sounds, the best way to save human lives, including the lives of civilians, and more Ukrainian cities from destruction, is to provide Ukraine with more weapons to resist Russian aggression," Kuleba added.
The Swedish government previously announced a new aid package for Ukraine of SEK 1 billion (about $100 million).
Earlier, at the Second Crimea Platform Summit, Andersson announced an "additional comprehensive package" of aid to Ukraine in response to Russia's full-scale invasion.
