Ukraine's Defence Minister Met with His American Counterpart Austin before Ramstein

Defence Minister of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov met with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin in Brussels, where the Ramstein meeting is scheduled for Wednesday.

"Before kicking off our agenda, I was very pleased to meet with my good friend and Ukrainian 🇺🇦 counterpart, Minister Oleksii Reznikov. This contact group – a gathering of nearly 50 nations – is continued proof the world is united behind you," Lloyd Austin wrote on Twitter.

In addition to Ramstein, a meeting of NATO defence ministers will also be held in Brussels. According to Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, strengthening Ukraine's air defence will be the top priority of the meeting.
