European Commissioner for Energy Arrived in Kyiv
European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson has arrived in Kyiv after the Russian rocket attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure to increase support for the Ukrainian energy sector.
"I am in Kyiv today to help scale up support to the Ukraine energy sector.
Ukrainian energy infrastructure is under targeted attack by Russia - a cruel and inhumane tactic to cause human suffering as the winter is approaching," Simson wrote on Twitter.
According to her, the EU stands by Ukrainians until they prevail.
I am in Kyiv today to help scale up support to the #Ukraine energy sector.

Last week, Kadri Simson called on European Union governments and private companies to donate more money for equipment for Ukraine's energy sector.
Ukraine requested energy equipment to help overcome the consequences of Russian terrorist attacks on critical infrastructure through the NATO Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC) and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism (EARCC).
