Ukraine's MFA Calls for "Neutralisation" of Russia's Military Cooperation With Iran
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on the international community to take measures to "neutralise" military cooperation between Russia and Iran, as it is a threat to the whole world.
Oleh Nikolenko, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, noted that Ukraine continues to identify the facts that Iran provides Russia with its weaponry, which the Kremlin uses in the war against Ukraine. It is also known that Iran is increasing the production of weapons and could potentially use them against any of the countries in the Middle East
"We must face the truth: the military cooperation between the Russian Federation and Iran currently threatens not only the security of Ukraine but also global peace and security. It is critically important that the international community intensifies efforts to neutralise the destructive military cooperaction between Russia and Iran," he emphasised.
Nikolenko also commented on Sky News information that Russia could "pay" Iran for kamikaze drones with captured in Ukraine UK and US weapons, noting that all Western weapons "are under strict oversight by the government of Ukraine and our partners."
