Hungarian President to Visit Kyiv
Hungarian President Katalin Novák will become the highest-ranking representative of Hungary to visit Ukraine since the Russian invasion.
The Hungarian medium Index has reported on the visit.
According to Index, Novák will pay a visit to Ukraine at the invitation of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
It is reported that Novák will first reach Poland by plane and then change for a train to Kyiv.
The Office of the President of Hungary neither denies nor confirms this information. Meanwhile, the sources of "European Pravda" mention that Hungary might participate in the grain initiative, which will be presented in Kyiv on Saturday.
Katalin Novák joined a statement condemning the massive missile attack on Ukraine on October 10. Novák and the other 10 presidents stated that Moscow's threats to use nuclear power were unacceptable.
In September, she told the UN General Assembly that Hungary condemned Russian aggression and provided economic and humanitarian aid to refugees from Ukraine in line with the Hungarian government's position. She also called on UN member states to make peace a priority.
In the spring, Novák demanded an investigation into Russia's war crimes.
