Avenue of Victims of Russian Aggression Opened Near Russian Embassy in Warsaw
A pedestrian and bicycle route in Warsaw is now renamed the Avenue of Victims of Russian Aggression.
This was reported by the spokesperson for the Minister Coordinator of Special Services, Stanisław Żaryn.
"The bicycle alley in front of the Russian Embassy in Warsaw reminds us of the victims of Russian aggression. The Avenue of Victims of Russian aggression has now opened in Warsaw. Poland remembers!" stated Żaryn on Twitter.

The decision to create the Avenue of Victims of Russian aggression was made in mid-October by a group of Warsaw councillors.
55 Warsaw councillors voted in favour of the relevant resolution, while two abstained.
"This name fits the proposed place, due to Russia’s ongoing […] aggression against Ukraine. Moreover, the naming is intended to provoke, and force reflection and action on the Russian state", the justification of the resolution explains.
Earlier, the City Council of the Polish city of Białystok decided to rename one of the key intersections to Free Ukraine, and a section of one of the streets would be called Free Belarus.
