A few days ago, it became known that the United States had sent Ukraine the first shipment of its energy equipment worth about $13 million to support the country's energy infrastructure after Russia's missile attack.
On December 16, Russians launched 76 missiles at Ukraine, including 72 cruise missiles. Ukraine’s air defence forces downed 60 of them.
The spokesman of the Kyiv city military administration reported that over 40 Russian missiles flew near Kyiv during the massive missile attack on Ukraine. Ukrainian air defence troops struck down 37 of them. Kyiv subway stations are working as shelters, and the train traffic is currently suspended. It stopped working for the first time during the massive shelling, and intercity trains are also reported to be delayed.
"Ukrenergo" has announced an emergency situation due to the missile attacks.
