Ukrainian soldiers will go through sharpshooting, command control and medical training in Norway for the first time.

According to Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv with reference to NRK, first group of Ukrainian soldiers, around 100 people, will arrive at a base of the National Guard in Trøndelag. They will spend five to six weeks in Norway, before another group of Ukrainian soldiers will replace them later this year, reported Bjørn Arild Gram, Norwegian Minister of Defence.

"The novelty lies in the fact that the specialised training that we offer the Ukrainian soldiers consists not only of the material part. There will also be medical, sharpshooting and command control training. This is a big contribution that will not go unnoticed," Gram said.

Earlier, Bjørn Arild Gram, Minister of Defence of Norway, confirmed his country’s intentions to send Western-type tanks to Ukraine.
