"Glory to Ukraine": What Biden Wrote in Mariinskyi Palace Guest Book
US President Joe Biden has expressed his solidarity and friendship with the freedom-loving people of Ukraine in a note he left in the Mariinskyi Palace guest book.
"I am honored to be welcomed again in Kyiv to stand in solidarity and friendship with the freedom loving people of Ukraine Mr President. Please accept my deepest respect for your courage and leadership. Slava Ukraini! Joe Biden," US President wrote, as Oleksandr Kubrakov, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, wrote on Twitter.

As reported, Biden decided to make the risky visit to Kyiv only on 17 February after being briefed in the Oval Office by leading members of his national security team.
A few hours before Biden's departure, the United States informed Russia of his plans to visit the Ukrainian capital in order to avoid conflict situations.
U.S. President Joe Biden, during his visit to Kyiv, announced a new package of US military assistance and additional sanctions against Russia for its aggression.
