Italian Prime Minister Arrives in Kyiv, to Visit Bucha and Irpin
Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday around noon by train from Przemyśl.
As La Repubblica reports, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expects the Prime Minister of Italy in the afternoon to hold a press conference.
Before that, Meloni will visit Bucha and Irpin to see herself the consequences of Russian aggression.
Meloni arrived in Poland (Ukr) on Monday and met with her Polish counterpart Mateusz Morawiecki and President Andrzej Duda.
Earlier, the media reported that Meloni will use her visit to demonstrate Italy's support for Ukraine and to announce the sixth military assistance package approved by the Italian government and the joint transfer of the SAMP/T anti-missile complex with France, which should be ready in the spring.
The content of the assistant package is not disclosed. As the Italian media wrote, Italy would not send tanks to Ukraine because it does not have enough. F-16 fighter jets will not be discussed either.
