EU Extends Personal Sanctions Due to Russian Aggression, List Remains Unchanged — Media
The European Union has extended for half a year without changes the sanctions imposed on almost 1,500 individuals and 205 legal entities from Russia connected to Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine.
"The asset freezes and visa bans on 1473 people and 205 entities deemed by the EU to have undermined the territorial integrity of Ukraine has been extended by another six months. Despite some speculation, no one has been removed - so far," Rikard Jozwiak, "Radio Liberty" correspondent wrote on Twitter.

In February it was unofficially reported that the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, allegedly threatened to not extend the sanctions (Ukr), demanding four people to be removed from the list.
It also became known that the sanctions against mother (Ukr) of the "Wagner Group" founder, Yevgeny Prigozhin, still apply even after the EU Court's decision to annul them, as the decision adopted on 14 September 2022 to renew her designation is still in force.
