Defence Ministry of Ukraine and Lithuania Showed How Ukrainians Operate M113
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and Lithuania have shown how Ukrainian mechanics learn to operate M113 armoured personnel carriers.
"62 M113 armoured personnel carriers from Lithuania and other countries are participating in combat operations in Ukraine. They surely need constant maintenance. We have organised courses for mechanics to teach the Ukrainian troops to maintenain and repair them in a workshop and in field conditions," said the Ministry of Defence of Lithuania.
Ukrainian troops following this training already know how to repair military equipment.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine points out that the troops learn theory, and get to know armour, mechanical components, chassis and engines.
Ukraine also received M113 armoured personnel carriers from the USA, the UK, Spain, Portugal, and Australia.
Lithuania will also send about 40 instructors to Germany (Ukr) to train Ukrainian troops.
