Italian Journalist Injured by Drone Strike in Kherson — Ukraine's Foreign Minister
Corrado Zunino, a correspondent of Italian La Repubblica, was injured on Wednesday near Kherson after the car he was traveling in with his fixer was fired upon.
The journalist received assistance and was hospitalised in the Kherson city hospital with a shoulder injury. Nothing is currently known about his assistant.
The Italian Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, reported that Zunino was wounded in the shoulder by a drone attack.
"He is doing well and is being accompanied by our embassy in Kyiv. I am in contact with Minister Kuleba, who assured me of the full support of the Ukrainian government," he wrote on Twitter.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, at a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in Rome, stated that Italy would assist Ukraine as soon as possible to meet the criteria for full EU membership and speed up the process of starting accession negotiations.
