Lloyd Austin, United States Secretary of Defence, has stated that Ukrainian forces can identify vulnerabilities in the defence of Russian troops and use them during their counteroffensive.

Austin noted that Russian fortifications extend hundreds of miles, but they cannot be strong everywhere.

"Their task is to figure out where they're not strong, where there are opportunities and identify and exploit those opportunities," said the Pentagon Chief during his press conference in New Delhi.

As reported, the United States believes that they and other allies have properly provided military assistance to Ukraine for conducting a counteroffensive.

In mid-May, it was reported that Ukrainian forces had begun operations to "shape" the long-anticipated counteroffensive against Russian troops.
