Stoltenberg Mentioned "Very Good Conversation" with Zelenskyy Ahead of NATO Summit
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has announced that he had a "very good" conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ahead of the NATO summit in Vilnius.
"Very good conversation with President Zelenskyy on the latest developments in Ukraine, and our preparations for the NATO Summit," Stoltenberg said on Twitter.

He pointed out that in Vilnius, Allies would take decisions to step up support for the long haul, upgrade political ties, and bring Ukraine closer to NATO.
The NATO summit will take place in Vilnius on July 11-12.
On July 4, NATO extended Stoltenberg's term as Secretary General until 1 October 2024 since the allies had failed to agree on a better candidate for his successor.
Ahead of the summit, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on President Joe Biden to invite Ukraine to join NATO now, even if the country joins the Alliance after the war.
