Switzerland Joins Register of Damage Caused by Russia against Ukraine
Switzerland has joined the Register of Damage Caused by the Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, established by the Council of Europe.
"This membership underscores Switzerland's support for those affected by the war and for the political process of rebuilding Ukraine, which Switzerland initiated in conjunction with the Ukrainian government at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2022 in Lugano," the Swiss government's press service stated.
Switzerland's membership in the Registry of Damages will soon be officially approved by the Council of Europe.
The agreement on the Registry of Damage caused by the Russian aggression was adopted at the Council of Europe summit in Iceland in May. 43 countries have joined it.
