The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Luminița Odobescu, has stated that Russian attacks on infrastructure in southern Ukraine pose risks for her country, but she denies that there have been any significant threatening incidents so far.

As reported by Digi24, Odobescu commented on the situation that occurred on the night of September 4 when loitering munitions crashed and exploded on Romanian territory

"Of course, there is a risk. Because what happened there, is very close to our borders. Of course, there is a risk of accidents or incidents. So far, this has not happened," said the head of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

She emphasised that with its attacks, Russia was preventing Ukraine from exporting its grain.

On the night of 3-4 September, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 32 Shahed kamikaze drones, 23 of which were destroyed, but the others hit their targets in Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.

Meanwhile, the Romanian Defence Ministry "categorically denied" the Ukrainian side's information that Russian loitering munitions had crashed and exploded on Romanian territory during the night attack on 3-4 September.

Later, Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine's Foreign Minister, said Ukraine had photographic evidence of the crash of the Shahed UAV in Romania during the Russian attack on the night of 3-4 September at its disposal, and it is ready to present it.
