Blinken Honours Fallen Defenders at Berkovetske Cemetery in Kyiv
Antony Blinken, United States Secretary of State, visited the Berkovetske cemetery in Kyiv, where he paid his respects to the fallen defenders of Ukraine, during his visit to the Ukrainian capital on Wednesday, 6 September.
"The Secretary became the first counterpart to begin his day in Kyiv by paying tribute to our fallen heroes at Berkovetske cemetery. This is a sign of respect to all Ukrainian warriors who gave their life for our freedom and the right to live," Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine's Foreign Minister, wrote on X (Twitter).

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Kyiv on the morning of 6 September on an official visit.
The media unofficially learned about the possibility of his visit the day before, but the State Department refused to comment on the rumours.
Reuters stated that the State Secretary's visit to Ukraine will last for two days. It is expected that the US diplomat will announce new aid package for Ukraine within its framework.
