Zelenskyy Discusses Economic Cooperation with Slovak President

On Wednesday, 15 November, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with his Slovak counterpart Zuzana Čaputová.

During the conversation, Zelenskyy thanked Čaputová for recognising Ukraine's progress in its EU accession negotiations.

"I appreciate Slovakia’s participation in the Peace Formula, particularly at its Malta meeting," he said on Twitter (X).

During the conversation, challenges to Ukraine's energy security and the continuation of Ukrainian-Slovak economic cooperation were also discussed.

Earlier, Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni. The parties agreed to start working on bilateral safety guarantees and discussed further sanctions against Russia.

In early November, Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Charles Michel, President of the European Council.
