Finland Gives 20th Military Aid Package Worth €100 Million to Ukraine
Finnish President Sauli Niinistö has approved the government's proposal to provide Ukraine with a new military aid package.
As the Ministry of Defence of Finland stated, this is the 20th aid package that Finland has provided to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Its value is approximately €100 million.
Finnish Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen said that the total amount of aid provided to Ukraine is €1.5 billion.
Traditionally, the Finnish government does not disclose the contents of the packages, as well as the schedule and method of their delivery.
Finland provided the previous aid package to Ukraine on 11 October. It was worth about €95 million.
In addition, in October, the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced an additional €92 million to support Ukraine and countries affected by Russian aggression through the World Bank.
