Ukrainska Pravda reported that Russian forces attacked Kherson railway station around 18:00 on 26 December, killing a police officer and injuring two of his colleagues and two civilians.
Train passengers who came under Russian fire at Kherson railway station were able to travel to Mykolaiv safely by bus.
The Council of Europe (CoE) still hopes to force Russia to comply with the European Court of Human Rights’ rulings, despite the fact that Russia has not been a member of the CoE since spring 2022.
