Ukraine's state passport service Document temporarily suspends issuance of pre-made passports abroad
Foreign branches of the state passport service Document have suspended the issuance of pre-made passports due to technical reasons.
The statement said the issuance of pre-made passports in the foreign branches of the Document passport service was suspended for technical reasons.
"Passports can be issued to children under 12 years old due to the absence of the necessity for biometric verification," the statement noted.
The submission of application forms for passports is being conducted in the usual mode.
Foreign branches should inform users about the resumption of document issuance systems after resolving the issue on the official resources of the state passport service Document.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba confirmed reports of suspending consular services to Ukrainian men of conscription age residing abroad.
Such a suspension happened due to the adoption of the law On Amending Certain Legislative Acts on Improving Certain Issues of Mobilisation, Military Registration and Military Service which has been signed by the Ukrainian president and published.
