The IT Coalition within the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (Ramstein format) has set up expert subgroups, and two of its members, Estonia and Luxembourg, have announced new financial contributions.

The second meeting of the IT Coalition's steering group meeting in Luxembourg was attended by 11 member states of the IT Coalition, representatives of seven observer countries, the European Union, and NATO. Discussions centred around the status of procurement, priorities for this year, and the procurement planning roadmap.

"We can expect more countries to join us shortly, as well as additional contributions and the first deliveries of equipment to Ukraine," said Tuuli Duneton, Estonian Deputy Defence Minister for Policy Planning.

In addition, Ukraine's Defence Ministry noted that the IT Coalition's steering group has established four thematic expert teams to share expertise, and several countries – including Estonia and Luxembourg – have announced further financial contributions.

The IT Coalition is a special group of states within the Ukraine Defence Contact Group, led by Estonia and Luxembourg. It aims to support Ukraine's Defence Ministry and Armed Forces in IT, communications, and cybersecurity.

Estonia and Luxembourg have joined the group as lead countries, as well as Belgium, Denmark, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Ukraine. In addition, the United Kingdom completed its accession to the IT Coalition by signing a declaration of intent.

In February, the coalition member states finalised a six-year cooperation agreement.
