Latvian Foreign Minister raises €14,000 for drones for Ukraine through her half marathon
Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže, who ran her first half marathon to raise funds for drones for Ukraine, announced on Tuesday morning that she had already raised €13,500, and the amount continues to grow.
The minister called for further donations.
"We have now raised €13,500 for drones for Ukraine!
I am beyond grateful to all who supported us. Will appreciate further donations," Braže wrote on Twitter (X).

After her post, the amount raised exceeded €14,000.
The drone fundraiser on the Ziedot platform is being carried out in cooperation with the Ukrainian Embassy in Latvia.
Latvia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Baiba Braže has run the Riga marathon to collect funds for drones for Ukraine, covering the half-marathon distance of 21 kilometres.

Kristo Enn Vaga, a member of the Estonian parliament, embarked on a bike ride from the Estonian capital Tallinn to Kyiv to raise funds in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
