Ukraine received a new batch of special equipment provided by Germany to help reconstruct its energy infrastructure.

As reported by the press service of Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy, Ukrainian power technicians were given two Mercedes-Benz Arocs vehicles equipped with a loader crane for work on power grids.

It is one of 16 units of special equipment worth €2.3 million purchased through the Ukrainian-German Energy Partnership and a fundraising and procurement initiative led by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

A portion of the automobiles has already been transported to Ukraine, assisting power engineers in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Ternopil oblasts.
