Lithuanian foreign minister arrives in Kyiv

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis arrived in the capital of Ukraine on 13 September. 

"I am back in Kyiv because that's what friends are for," Gabrielius Landsbergis wrote on Twitter (X).

During a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on 11 and 12 September, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda promised to help Ukraine win the war against a "monster".

Nausėda also said that Lithuania is likely to soon approve the purchase of short-range anti-aircraft missile systems for Ukraine.
