Finland has announced the allocation of the 25th military aid package for Ukraine, which is estimated to be worth €118 million.

On September 13, Finnish President Alexander Stubb approved the government's proposal for the 25th military aid package for Ukraine.

The replacement of the weapons included in the package will cost Helsinki about €118 million. The total value of the military assistance provided to Ukraine with this package has reached €2.3 billion.

"Developments in the war in Ukraine continue to be serious. As promised, Finland will continue to provide material assistance. Our message to partner countries is that we must not give up," Finnish Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen commented.

Similar to previous cases, Finland does not disclose any details about the contents of the package or the estimated delivery time for security reasons.

The package was compiled considering Ukraine's requests and the resources available to the Finnish Defence Forces.

Finland is also collecting donations for energy equipment to help Ukraine get through the winter.

The Finnish Defence Forces recently had to refute Russian claims that the drones that had attacked facilities in Russia's Murmansk Oblast were supposedly launched from Finnish territory.
