The Verkhovna Rada (the Ukrainian parliament) has dismissed Dmytro Kuleba as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

As reported by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, an MP from the Voice (Holos) faction, on Telegram, the decision was voted for by 243 MPs.

Kuleba has not come to the Verkhovna Rada to deliver his report on the work done while in office, Zhelezniak added.

The head of the "Servant of the People" faction, David Arakhamia, recently announced that the faction has agreed on the candidacy for the new head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of government rotations.

Davyd Arakhamiia, leader of the Servant of the People faction, stated they have agreed to vote for the appointment of Andrii Sybiha, the first deputy of the current Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, as the new foreign minister.

The US Department of State previously reported a conversation between Secretary of State Antony Blinken and his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba, who has submitted his resignation.

The Secretary of State expressed gratitude for the close partnership that the US and Ukraine have developed through many initiatives and reaffirmed the United States' unwavering support for the Ukrainian people, who are defending themselves, their homeland and their freedom from Russian aggression.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock previously stated that she only worked closely with few people the way she did with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
