Denmark transferred six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine
Ukraine has already received six F-16 fighter jets from Denmark, and plans for their transfer have not changed.
When asked to clarify plans to deliver warplanes to Ukraine, Frederiksen stated, "Our plans for the F-16s have not changed."
"The number has always been the same. Six [F-16s] have already been delivered; this is the first batch," she explained during a joint press conference with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to Fredriksen, Ukraine will get another two batches of fighters from Denmark, with the total number of planes reaching 19.
Denmark, in partnership with the Netherlands, is leading an international fighter jet coalition which is tasked with arranging training for Ukrainian pilots on F-16s.
Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen announced that Ukraine would receive another batch of F-16 fighter jets by the end of 2024.
