Germany's foreign minister arrives in Kyiv
Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock arrived in Kyiv on Monday, 4 November.
Der Spiegel journalist Christoph Schult noted on X (Twitter) that Baerbock arrived in Kyiv as part of her eighth visit to Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion.
Schult added that the day before the US presidential election, the German foreign minister pledged to support Ukrainians "as long as they need us".

Notably, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conferred the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise For Merit upon Baerbock during a meeting with her in May.
Recently, the German Foreign Ministry suggested that new sanctions could be imposed on Pyongyang if North Korean troops join Russia's war against Ukraine.
