President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to personally participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, scheduled for 20–24 January.

As reported by SRF (Swiss Radio and Television), WEF President Børge Brende revealed that representatives from over 130 countries are expected at Davos, including more than 60 heads of state and government and over 1,600 business leaders.

US President-elect Donald Trump will not attend the event in person but will join online and deliver a speech on Thursday, 23 January. Representatives of Trump’s new administration are expected to attend Davos later in the week, Brende added.

President Zelenskyy is expected to arrive in Davos on Tuesday, 21 January. This will be his second participation in the forum, following his first appearance in 2024.

Among European leaders attending the forum, Brende specifically mentioned European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

In March 2022, the Davos Forum froze its relations with Russia.
