Lithuanian foreign minister shows aftermath of Russian strike on honorary consulate in Kherson
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys has shared images of the aftermath of a Russian strike on Lithuania's honorary consulate in Kherson, calling for increased support for Ukraine to secure victory.
The minister posted photos of the damage to Lithuania's honorary consulate in Kherson, describing it as "Russia's New Year greetings".
"Such brutality and destruction must end. We must provide Ukraine with more air defense and other capabilities it needs for victory," Budrys wrote on X (Twitter).

On 3 January, Russian forces attacked the city of Chernihiv with ballistic missiles, resulting in explosions on the city’s outskirts. Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration reported significant damage to several houses and one civilian fatality.
