A poll conducted by Hungarian Péter Magyar's opposition party Tisza shows that almost 60% of the population supports Ukraine's accession to the EU.

As reported by Telex, a Hungarian independent news outlet, and KarpatHir, a Hungarian news outlet, among the more than 1.1 million people who filled out the questionnaires, 58.18% answered "yes" to the question "Do you support Ukraine's accession to the European Union?".

Citizens were also asked whether Hungary should remain a member of the European Union and NATO. A total of 98.68% of people said they supported this.

The chairman of the Tisza party promised that if they come to power after the 2026 elections, the results of this poll will be the "cornerstone" of their government.

Recently, Péter Magyar said that Ukraine has no chance of becoming an EU member "in the next few decades".
