Сотрудники посольства Украины в Великобритании ко Дню Независимости обратились к украинцам и британцам со стихотворением Владимира Сосюры "Любите Украину" в авторском переводе.

Поздравительный ролик посольство разместило на своем YouTub-канале.

"В этот праздничный для нас всех день мы решили поздравить всех оригинальным способом. Мы разработали свою, авторскую англоязычную версию известного стихотворения "Любите Украину", - рассказала посол Украины в Великобритании Наталья Галибаренко.

По словам руководительницы посольства, перевод сделано, чтобы британские друзья в полной мере "могли разделить любовь к нашей Родине" и "понять настоящую украинскую душу".

"Европейская правда" приводит дословный (не стихотворный) перевод произведения Сосюры, предоставленный Посольством Украины в Великобритании.

As the wind, the grass, the waters
